KFBL vows to promote children literature
Pakistan News & Features Services The Karachi Festival of Books and Libraries (KFBL), co-founded by Aziz Memon and Syed Khalid Mahmood in 2024, has vowed to continue promoting the print editions of books and magazines among children in particular to encourage them to acquire real pleasure of reading. While Pakistan has had a rich heritage in producing Urdu literature for children over the years with monthly magazines like Naunehal, Anokhi Kahaniyan, and School Life, among others, playing a lead role, the KFBL management has felt the need to promote them for the benefit of the present generation.
